Spring 2012 WWCA News

It's been too long since I've posted anything on our neighborhood blog.  My apologies.  With all the different tools available to get information out to everyone, it can be a challenge staying on top of things.

As some of you are already aware, it is time for our front entrance to be maintained again.  The mowing company taking care of the front charge $55 per mowing, up from $50 last year.  That's to be expected with gas prices where they are.

We really need everyone in the neighborhood to ask others to get involved in paying association dues.  We have very little going into the mowing season left over from last year.  We are encouraged that we've received payments from 5 households through the web site at www.westervillewoods.org.  That will at least take care of the first 2 mowings this year.  Thanks!

It would be great if we have enough funds this year so that we could purchase mulch and maybe a few new plants to go in the front entrance flower bed.  Right now, we're concerned about having enough to pay for the mowing service.  Last year with all the wet weather in the Spring it was more expensive to keep the front grass mowed regularly.

We appreciate all of you who do support the association and ask that you mention to your neighbors if they are already not participating.  We will have a WWCA meeting soon and will schedule a front entrance clean up day as well.
